Graduate School Survival Guide

  1. Get yourself a planner that works for you! I highly suggest reading my previous blog about the three biggest mistakes people make when using a planner.
  2. Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.
  3. Friends in your program.
  4. Support from family or friends.
  5. Someone to tell you when to take a break even when you don’t want to.
  6. The ability to cry and laugh in the same sentence about an assignment.
  7. A passion for your field.
  8. A house cleaner (if you can afford one).
  9. A fur baby to snuggle up with on those nights you just want to quit.
  10. Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.Coffee.
